Families in Norfolk County are invited to take part in a festive Easter tradition this weekend as the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum hosts its annual Easter Eggstravaganza.
The event takes place Saturday, April 4 at the Waterford Arena ball diamonds, promising a fun-filled morning for children and families. Organizers say the popular outdoor egg hunt will feature more than 8,000 chocolate eggs scattered across the grounds.
Gates open at 10:45 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis, with the hunt officially getting underway at 11 a.m. In addition to the chocolate eggs, participants will have multiple chances to win special prize packages.
The event is open to children aged 12 and under, with admission set at $5 per child.
Organizers say the Eggstravaganza continues to be a highlight of the Easter season in the community, drawing families together for a morning of outdoor fun and celebration.
The event is made possible with support from the Waterford Chamber of Commerce.
