The 2026 Simcoe Arms Tournament for Breast Cancer has come to a close after a busy weekend of hockey, community spirit, and fundraising efforts. Hosted by the Simcoe & District Minor Hockey Association, the tournament ran from March 19 to 22 and featured multiple age divisions from U9 through U18.
Teams from across the region competed in the event, which continues a long-standing tradition of supporting breast cancer awareness. Among the champions, the Port Stanley Sailors claimed the U9 title, while Tillsonburg secured first place in the U13 division. The Langton team also emerged as champions in the U18 category.
Other strong performances included the Cayuga Stars, who were U11 gold medal finalists, and Aylmer, which reached the U15 gold medal game. The tournament brought together hundreds of players, coaches, and families in support of the cause.
Formerly known as the Marci Cook Tournament, the event continues to evolve while maintaining its core mission of raising awareness and funds for breast cancer initiatives. Organizers say they will share additional updates and highlights from the weekend in the coming days.
