A Tillsonburg resident is facing a drug trafficking charge following a police investigation in the community earlier this week.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford detachment, along with officers from the Oxford Community Street Crime Unit, made the arrest on Wednesday in the Town of Tillsonburg Ontario.
Police say officers were called to a parking garage on Broadway shortly after 1:20 p.m. on March 11, where residents noticed an increased police presence during the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Christopher Landry, 38, of Tillsonburg, has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking — methamphetamine.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the arrest.
The accused has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on June 11, 2026.
Police say investigations like this help ensure public spaces remain safe for everyone in the community.
