The Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a theft in Port Dover.
Officers with the Norfolk County OPP responded on February 26, at approximately 9:44 a.m. to a report of a theft on Thompson Drive.
The investigation determined that around 7:51 p.m. the previous evening, an unidentified individual attended the property and stole a package belonging to the victim.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian female in her mid-50s with a thin build, short curly hair and eyeglasses.
She was reportedly wearing a light-coloured jacket and possibly camouflage pants at the time of the incident.
A photograph of the suspect has been released in hopes that someone may recognize her. Police say the investigation remains ongoing and encourage anyone with information to contact the Norfolk County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
