Police are asking for the public’s help following a shooting in the Town of Paris early Saturday morning.
Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police Brant County Detachment responded to a report of gunfire at a residence on Bradbury Crescent shortly after 12 a.m. on February 21.
When officers arrived, they located one person suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital and remains in stable condition.
Investigators believe two suspects approached the residence and discharged a firearm at the victim before fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle.
Police have described one suspect as a short Black male with a thin build, round face, minimal facial hair, and wearing all black clothing.
The second suspect is described as a male wearing a sweater or coat that is white across the upper chest and shoulder area and dark on the bottom.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and say there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
However, the OPP is urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or information that could assist with the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
