Police in Norfolk County are asking for the public’s help after a pickup truck was reported stolen from a rural property.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Norfolk County detachment responded to a report of a vehicle theft on Stanley Sideroad in Vittoria on Friday.
Investigators say the theft occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
During that time, one or more unknown individuals attended the property and stole a white 2020 Ford F-150 bearing Ontario licence plate BE76308.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officers are appealing to residents in the Vittoria area — and across Norfolk County — to check security cameras, dashcams or other surveillance systems for suspicious activity during the timeframe in question.
Vehicle theft continues to be a concern across Ontario, with police reminding residents to take preventative measures such as locking vehicles, removing keys and valuables, and considering anti-theft devices.
