The Ontario Provincial Police Haldimand detachment is inviting community members to learn more about joining its Auxiliary Unit at an upcoming information session in Cayuga.
The session is designed to provide insight into the Auxiliary Constable recruitment process and help prospective applicants understand what is required before applying.
Attendees will receive an overview of the application process, including prerequisites, expectations of candidates and tips on how to prepare for each stage of recruitment.
Organizers say the session is intended to ensure applicants are well-informed and positioned to be competitive before submitting their application.
It also offers an opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of the role Auxiliary members play in supporting frontline policing.
The event will take place Thursday, March 12th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Haldimand OPP detachment located at 72 Haldimand County Highway 54 in Cayuga.
Participants must pre-register online through the official Eventbrite link and follow all outlined registration requirements, including dress code and cancellation policies.
Those interested in exploring a career path or volunteer opportunity with the OPP are encouraged to attend.
