Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a recent theft.
On Family Day (Monday), the Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of property stolen from a mailbox on Concession 5 Woodhouse.
Investigators say the theft occurred sometime between Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, when one or more unidentified individuals removed items from the victim’s mailbox, including a credit card.

Police are seeking a Caucasian male, approximately 30 years old, with reddish-brown facial hair.
He was reportedly wearing a yellow toque and a black jacket and was seen in the area at the time the credit card was used. A photograph of the individual has been released to the public to aid in identification.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Authorities emphasize that tips from the public are crucial in helping solve this case and bring those responsible to justice.
