Members of the Haldimand–Norfolk Progressive Conservative Association are returning from the Ontario PC Convention with renewed focus on grassroots advocacy.
Eleven local delegates met with senior cabinet ministers, including Stephen Lecce, Greg Rickford, Lisa Thompson, and Trevor Jones, discussing agriculture, rural development, and economic sustainability.
Association president Phil Hauser said local representation is critical without a PC MPP in the riding.
“These were strong, candid conversations focused on the needs of our communities,” he said.
The association also announced new leadership appointments and plans for an Easter Turkey Drive fundraiser.
Marianne Kidd was elected Vice-President of Communications, and Cathie Schonberger was elected Regional Director to the Ontario PC Women in Politics Board.
