A call about a suspicious vehicle in Simcoe has resulted in impaired driving charges against a Norfolk County man.
Norfolk County OPP say officers were called to Orchard Avenue around 7:24 p.m. on Friday after a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Police located the vehicle and, after speaking with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old from Norfolk County has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and operating with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The man is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on February 17. OPP are reminding the public to call 911 if they suspect a driver may be impaired.
