Norfolk County is advising residents and business owners that snow removal operations are scheduled to begin overnight on Tuesday (February 3).
County officials say crews will start work at midnight, using dump trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment to remove snowbanks from downtown areas.
The operation is expected to last two to three days, depending on weather conditions and road conditions.
Residents should expect increased noise during overnight hours, as equipment works to clear roads and sidewalks.
The county notes the schedule remains tentative and could change if additional plowing is required.
To allow crews to work safely and efficiently, on-street parking will not be permitted in affected downtown areas.
Vehicles left parked may be ticketed or towed.
County staff say snow removal is necessary to maintain visibility, improve traffic flow, and ensure safe access for pedestrians and emergency services.
Updates will be provided if conditions change.
