Police in Caledonia laid impaired driving charges in connection with two separate collisions on January 24.
Haldimand County OPP first responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and an SUV at Argyle Street and Caithness Street, where no injuries were reported and a 58-year-old Binbrook resident was charged with impaired operation and following too closely.
Later that day, officers were called to McClung Road for a single-vehicle crash where a car was found in a ditch.
A 72-year-old Hamilton man was arrested after allegedly attempting to flee on foot and is facing charges including impaired operation, failing to remain at the scene, and careless driving.
