It was a messy commute yesterday in Norfolk and all across Ontario as another snowstorm rolled across the province.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says officers had to deal with hundreds of collisions.
Schmidt says with more snow in the forecast, as a motorist you play an important part in safety by staying off the roads if you can.
If you have to be on the road Schmidt says easy does it.
Schmidt says while snow tires can give you an edge when the snow flies – getting somewhere safely depends on you.
In challenging conditions like today – Schmidt says driving while distracted is just asking for trouble.
