Police are reporting multiple impaired driving incidents over the holidays.
A Woodstock resident is facing multiple charges following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 59 in Norwich Township.
Oxford OPP say officers were called to the scene around 7:00 p.m. on December 29, where a vehicle had left the roadway and entered a ditch.
The lone occupant was not injured.
As a result of the investigation, a 63-year-old has been charged with dangerous operation, operation while impaired, and operating a vehicle with cannabis readily available.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days, in accordance with provincial law.
Meanwhile, Haldimand OPP report two additional impaired driving incidents in the past week.
A 26-year-old from Nanticoke was charged following a collision on Parkview Road in Hagersville on December 23, while a 32-year-old from Hamilton was charged after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 6 in Caledonia on December 30.
Both individuals are scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga in early 2026.
