The annual Captain’s Polar Bear Levee is set to return to Port Dover on Thursday, January 1, inviting residents and visitors to ring in the New Year with music, community spirit, and charitable giving.
The event will take place at the Port Dover Harbour Museum, with doors opening at 1:00 p.m., following the popular Polar Bear Dip.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations in support of the local food bank. Admission is by donation, making the event accessible to all while supporting an important community cause.
Organizers say the levee is a long-standing tradition that brings people together to celebrate the start of a new year while giving back.
Residents are encouraged to dress warmly and enjoy an afternoon of music, connection, and community spirit along the waterfront.
