The Simcoe Rotary Club and the Norfolk community have achieved an incredible milestone, surpassing their $50,000 fundraising goal to support new hospital beds at Norfolk General Hospital.
With the Rotary Club’s matching pledge, this effort has unlocked a total of $100,000, funding state-of-the-art equipment that will enhance patient comfort, dignity, and overall care.
The campaign celebrated 100 years of partnership between the Simcoe Rotary Club and NGH, bringing together local businesses, individual donors, and volunteers in a collective effort to strengthen healthcare in the community.
Every contribution, no matter the size, played a part in reaching this historic milestone.
Patients at NGH will soon benefit from modernized hospital beds, and healthcare workers will have the tools they need to deliver better care.
Donations are still welcome through the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation, allowing supporters to continue contributing to vital healthcare services.
Contributions can be made by mailing a cheque to 365 West St., Simcoe, visiting the NGH Foundation office, calling 519-426-0130 x 2455, or through the foundation website.
