A training session in Tillsonburg is making a big difference for children facing serious illness. Members of the West Region OPP In-Service Training team presented Campfire Circle – Rainbow Lake with a record-breaking $8,300 donation.
The funds were raised through Ontario Provincial Police officers attending annual training in Tillsonburg. Organizers say the donation shows what can happen when people come together for a meaningful cause.
Campfire Circle provides year-round programs for children and families affected by childhood cancer and other serious illnesses, including hospital visits, community programs, and overnight camps. Since 1983, the organization has focused on healing through happiness, using play-based experiences to help children build confidence, friendships, and resilience.
Supporters say every dollar helps Campfire Circle continue offering a safe, welcoming space for families across Norfolk County and beyond.
