All schools in Norfolk County remain open today, despite a handful of bus cancellations affecting students who normally travel from Oxford County into Delhi.
Student Transportation Services of Brant Haldimand Norfolk (STSBHN) typically releases its daily transportation decisions at 6:30 a.m., and with that time now passed, it means classes are proceeding as scheduled across the county.
However, confusion arose this morning after several bus routes serving Delhi District Secondary School and St. Francis Cabrini School were listed as cancelled.
Voyago (the bus company with most of the routes affected) clarified that only the routes that go through Oxford County—where all schools and buses are cancelled today—will not be running.
Despite the affected buses, DDSS and St. Francis remain open, and all other transportation serving Norfolk-based students will continue as normal.
Walkers and riders on unaffected routes should attend school as usual.
