A Norfolk County resident is facing multiple charges following a drug trafficking investigation carried out by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
Officers executed a search warrant shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, at a residence on Concession 8 Townsend, with support from the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit.
Police say one individual was arrested without incident. A search of the home uncovered suspected cocaine, oxycodone, Dilaudid, a weapon, ammunition, Canadian currency, and several items of drug-related paraphernalia.
As a result, a 40-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with several offences, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and multiple counts of failing to comply with release and undertaking orders.
