The Norfolk County OPP is asking for the public’s help as officers investigate the theft of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from a property along Highway 24 in Waterford.
Police say the incident occurred sometime between November 15 and November 22, when one or more suspects entered the property and removed the vehicle without being detected.
Officers were called to the scene on Saturday shortly after noon.
The stolen ATV is described as a grey 2006 Yamaha Grizzly, carrying Ontario licence plate 20LB7. A photo of a similar model has been released to help the public identify the vehicle.
Investigators say they are exploring all leads and are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during the week of the theft to come forward.
Police are also asking residents and business owners nearby to review any security camera footage that might show the ATV being removed or transported.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may also be shared through Crime Stoppers.
