The 22nd Annual Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC Christmas Wish campaign has officially launched, and organizers are calling on the community to help make the season brighter for local children.
Each weekday, residents are encouraged to tune in to 98.9 myFM, where the Christmas Wish of a child from within Haldimand-Norfolk is shared during the station’s Information Updates at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Listeners who can sponsor a child’s gift are asked to call the WISH Line at 519-426-7700 as soon as they hear a wish announced.
If you are locked onto Oldies 99.7, you can always call the WISH Line and someone can provide you names of kids and their requested gift.
Sponsors are asked to provide an unwrapped gift valued at $25 or more, placed inside a gift bag with the child’s ID number clearly visible.
Gifts should be dropped off at Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC on the Queensway in Simcoe, where staff are once again partnering with HN R.E.A.C.H. and the radio station to deliver Christmas magic to local families.
Organizers say the program has grown into one of the area’s most heartfelt traditions, connecting generous residents with children who might otherwise go without during the holidays.
The Christmas Wish program continues this year with the hope of supporting as many children as possible, and community members are encouraged to participate while the campaign is ongoing.
