Norfolk County is celebrating a major milestone for its business community. The county’s official business website, norfolkbusiness.ca, has received international recognition from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) — a prestigious honour that highlights Norfolk’s collaborative, forward-thinking approach to supporting local entrepreneurs.
Director of Strategic Innovation and Economic Development John Regan says the award is a testament to the partnerships and innovative spirit driving Norfolk’s success. “It’s about real partnerships, creative thinking, and a shared commitment to building something remarkable together,” Regan said.
Looking ahead, Norfolk County invites the community to attend “Ignite a Culture of Curiosity” on November 27 at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre, presented with Workforce Planning of Grand Erie. The keynote event will explore how curiosity and inclusive leadership can fuel business growth and resilience in today’s changing economy.
With over 250 local businesses featured on the Visit Norfolk app and programs like the Regional Tariff Response Initiative, Norfolk County continues to strengthen its reputation as a growing hub of innovation and collaboration.
