Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off big for a Simcoe man. 28-year-old Trent Moz matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the September 20th draw, winning $100,000.
Moz said he added ENCORE to a Free Play ticket “for the extra dollar,” then checked his numbers over coffee the next morning — scanning the ticket multiple times before realizing it really was six figures.
He shared the moment with his dad, who also needed a second look.
Moz says he plans to save his winnings toward buying his first home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on Main Street in Port Dover.
