A two-vehicle collision near Hagersville has claimed one life and left another person injured.
The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. on October 14 at the intersection of Highway 3 and Haldimand Road 20.
Police say a passenger van and a transport truck collided, killing a 95-year-old passenger from Lowbanks at the scene.
The van’s driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, while the truck driver was uninjured.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team assisted with the investigation.
The area roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
