The Norfolk County Public Library (NCPL) is honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by offering opportunities for the community to reflect, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
While NCPL branches will be closed on September 30, each location has special displays and a curated reader’s advisory booklet.
These resources are designed to help residents deepen their understanding of the history and lasting impact of Canada’s residential school system while highlighting stories of resilience from Survivors and their families.
Residents are encouraged to visit their local branch before September 30 to explore the materials or to download resources available online at ncpl.ca.
