One month after the Live Like Luke Canada Crossing, community love and donations continue to grow. On Thursday afternoon, friends gathered at Cabin 519 to present a merchandise total of $13,380 to the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice.
Norfolk residents have likely seen the popular Live Like Luke shirts featuring the heart-like smiley face that Luke himself drew. Each shirt sends $20 directly to the Hospice, helping fund vital end-of-life care. Dan Johnson thanked everyone for their role, noting that the merchandise “helped spread the excitement” and keep the movement strong.
Hospice board members Shannon Porter and Mary Ellen Ball accepted the cheque and praised the community’s enthusiasm. They said the donation proves local residents want to see the Hospice thrive and continue its mission of compassionate care.
Supporters can still purchase Live Like Luke clothing at Cabin 519 and Cocoa Cabana, or order online through Custom Print Shop Co., ensuring the momentum for the Hospice keeps building.
