Another meaningful donation helping the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice get one step closer to their goal.
On Monday morning, a cheque was handed over to the hospice from Church Out Serving all thanks to the support of those who drink or dine at Riversyde 83.
That was Eric Haverkamp speaking on behalf of Church Out Serving.
Dan Johnson was there in attendance as well.
He was happy to see the campaign still rolling on even if his journey on the bike has come to an end.
Andrea Binkle from the Hospice CEO, who was also there for this special moment.
She said the community has made it clear – they want this hospice open.
Binkle did provide our elected officials with an update on the hospice last week, and an unofficial request for funding.
