Residents can now register for Norfolk County’s fall Household Hazardous Waste drop-off events, providing a safe way to dispose of harmful materials.
Collection days will be held in Simcoe on October 4 and Langton on October 25, with appointment slots available online.
Accepted items include batteries, propane tanks, paint, gasoline, fluorescent bulbs, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides.
Items not accepted include electronic waste, agricultural and industrial waste, PCBs, explosives, and radioactive material.
