Ontario is eliminating barriers that have limited workers in regulated professions from moving freely between provinces.
The provincial government announced Monday that it has signed 10 agreements with other provinces and territories to make it easier for skilled professionals to work in Ontario.
The changes apply to more than 50 high-demand occupations, including engineers, architects, and electricians.
Officials say the move is aimed at improving labour mobility and helping Ontario address workforce shortages across key sectors.
