The Ontario government is putting $2 million into Futurpreneur Canada to help young entrepreneurs launch and grow businesses.
The funding will support 320 people between the ages of 18 and 39 with financing, mentorship, and resources.
Officials say the investment is part of a broader effort to protect Ontario’s economy from U.S. tariffs and global uncertainty.
Since 2021, Ontario has provided $9 million to Futurpreneur, helping start nearly 1,200 businesses and create over 5,000 jobs.
