Norfolk County Public Library is hosting a walk and candlelight vigil on August 26th for International Overdose Awareness Day, beginning at 5:00 PM at 50 Colborne Street South in Simcoe. Participants will walk to Clifton Park for a remembrance event with speakers and naloxone, honouring lives lost to toxic drug poisoning.

Summer Darts – Delhi
Join fellow dart enthusiasts at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 125 in Delhi on Wednesday, August 27, from 7 to 11 p.m. for a fun evening of games. Entry is $5, and players can look forward to a banquet at the end of the 14-week series.
Space Adventure – Simcoe Town Centre
Kids can blast off into fun on August 27 with astronaut training, moon walking, space volleyball, and planet-making crafts at Simcoe Town Centre. Sessions run from 1–2 p.m. and 2–3 p.m., with limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Homegrown Hideaway Summer Concert Series
Enjoy an evening of live country, bluegrass, and folk music with Darrin and Alison as part of the Homegrown Hideaway Summer Concert Series. The show happens Wednesday night from 7–9 p.m., with indoor seating sold out but lawn chair space available—local drinks and cozy vibes included.
Boston Pizza Simcoe BP Idol series
Each Wednesday night at 8 PM, DJ Danny B will host a spirited singing competition where we select one talented winner each week. Enthusiastic participants will vie for a spot in the grand finale, where a $1000 grand prize awaits the ultimate BP Idol. Plus, weekly winners receive $100.
