Dan Johnson wishes no ill will towards the person who took his phone.
Yesterday, we told you about a sad end to the Live Like Luke homecoming, that saw Dan’s phone was stolen at the celebration.
The community heard about this a rallied together once again, offering up a cash reward for the phone’s return – no questions asked.
In a video posted yesterday on his wife’s phone, Dan said they person made a bad decision, and hopes they can turn things around in the future.
The phone was purchased just prior to his cross-country journey.
It was a higher end phone, simply because of the amount of work it would be doing.
He is hopeful the individual will do the right thing in the end, and his phone will return.
He finished by saying he doesn’t want people to “roast” the thief online.
While he would love to have the phone back, the family will move forward if need be, without disdain for the person who committed the crime.
