Today: Jarvisfest kicksoff today! Bringing three days of live music, entertainment, and family fun to the community.
This year’s lineup keeps all the popular staples — live music, disc golf, the car show, and the parade — while adding exciting new features. The festival begins at 3 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. Sunday. Highlights also include a parade, fireworks and a wide variety of food vendors!

Tomorrow: Simcoe Lady Lions 80th Anniversary at Army, Navy & Airforce Unit 255, Water Street, Simcoe from 5:30 – 8:30 PM
The club was formed in 1945, with the goal of supporting Lions and community projects. Members enjoy monthly dinner meetings with an interesting speaker, and the emphasis is always on fun, friendship and helping our community. Some of the early projects supported by the club included partially furnishing the children’s ward at Norfolk General Hospital, sending children to summer camp and Christmas hampers for the needy.
