Mark your calendars: one of Norfolk County’s most popular late-summer events is coming back as Cornstalk 2025 returns for its fourth annual celebration.
The event will run from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on September 13, with live music kicking off at 4:00 p.m.
Hosted in partnership with Welsh Bros. and organized in support of the South Brant Lions Club, Cornstalk has quickly grown into a must-attend event for both locals and visitors.
We spoke with Eric Welsh, the operations manager at Welsh Bros., about the variety of corn-related dishes visitors can look forward to.
If deep-fried corn piqued your interest, Welsh explained exactly how that unique dish will be prepared.
Welsh added that they plan to set aside around 1,000 pieces of corn for the event. This should satisfy both the casual corn fan and the diehard corn enthusiast.
If you consider yourself among the true corn lovers, Welsh says you definitely won’t want to miss the corn eating contest.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the South Brant Lions Club, supporting its work and charitable efforts in the local community.
