ABEL Enterprises is bringing more excitement to this year’s Duck Race at the Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival. Set for 2 p.m. on Monday, August 4 at Clifton Park, the popular race sees 750 numbered rubber ducks dropped into the Lynn River to race toward the Norfolk Street bridge.
New this year, ABEL has increased ticket availability by 250 and added extra cash prizes. First place wins $500, second gets $300, third $200, fourth $100, and fifth $50. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m. on the Main Stage in Wellington Park. You don’t need to be present to win—but the crowd makes it more fun!
Tickets are $5 cash and can be bought at ABEL Enterprises, Monday Night Bingos, or the Duck Race Booth at the festival. E-transfer options are available via abelfundraising@gmail.com. With only 750 tickets available, early purchase is encouraged.
