Norfolk County Championship Wrestling is coming back to the Simcoe Legion in August.
President Adam Martin spoke with us about the Legions long history with wrestling, and how they are proud to bring it back.
He said the Legion is a perfect fit, because they try not to just put on a good wrestling event, but let the crowd feel like they are involved.
At the last event, a new World Champion was crowned when Pretty Ricky Willdy beat Hayden Backlund, with that rematch expected to electric.
For this event, NCCW is also expanding it’s pool of talent – bringing some new faces to swim with the familiar.
We will be speaking with Martin on a later date about a big event they have planned later this year in partnership with the Port Dover Board of Trade.
