Norfolk County Fire Department is now accepting applications for volunteer firefighters, with multiple stations looking to expand their teams across the region.
Positions are open in Courtland, Fairground, Langton, Port Dover, Port Rowan, St. Williams, Teeterville, Vittoria, and Waterford.
Community members interested in joining the fire service can attend an open house to meet local crews and learn more about the role:
- Tuesday, August 12 – Port Dover Fire Station (East)
- Thursday, August 14 – Port Rowan Fire Station (West)
- Each session runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
The application deadline is Friday, August 29, and all applicants must be available for testing on Saturday, September 20.
