Grand Erie Public Health is strengthening leadership during a transitional period with the return of Dr. Rebecca Comley as Acting Medical Officer of Health.
Dr. David Williams, former Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario, will also provide temporary support as the region recruits a permanent officer.
Dr. Comley brings local experience from Brantford General Hospital and public health expertise at the national level.
Dr. Williams, known for leading Ontario’s pandemic response, will ensure continuity and leadership during this interim period.
