Today, the Delhi & District Horticultural Society is hosting a special community event to give back to the local area.
Taking place at the Delhi Tobacco Museum and Heritage Centre, the Society is seeking volunteers from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for its annual planting and clean-up.
Organizers are encouraging community members to lend a hand, as many volunteers are needed to plant flower beds around the museum grounds and assist with general clean-up.
It’s a great way to help beautify a cherished local landmark and support the preservation of local heritage.
Participants are asked to bring their own gardening tools and gloves.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just want to give back, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved. Everyone is welcome!
