Child and Family Services of Grand Erie (CFSGE) is calling on local residents to help support children, youth, and families by joining its Board of Directors. Based in Brantford, CFSGE serves communities across Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, and nearby Indigenous territories.
The organization is looking for caring, community-minded individuals who want to make a difference. Board members help guide the agency’s work by providing oversight, strategy, and accountability. CFSGE is committed to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally respectful services.
No prior board experience is needed—just a passion for supporting families and a willingness to learn. CFSGE welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, especially those with experience in social work, education, law, finance, advocacy, or equity.
Board members attend 10–12 meetings a year and may join committees. Training and support are provided.
