Brantford Police are investigating after a train struck an unoccupied pick-up truck on the tracks east of Wayne Gretzky Parkway around 3:15 a.m. on May 14, 2025. The vehicle had been abandoned and no injuries were reported. A full search using a drone and police dogs found no one in the area. CN Police have taken over the investigation.
Brantford Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity or has dash cam footage near Wayne Gretzky Parkway and the CN overpass to contact them. No charges have been laid. The vehicle has since been removed. Anyone with information can reach out to the BPS Traffic Unit 519-756-7050 or submit a tip through Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers.
