
The Norfolk Music Hall of Fame is set to honour legendary local musicians Rick and Terry Danko with a special tribute event on Saturday, May 10th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Simcoe. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
This unforgettable night will feature Lance Anderson’s “The Last Waltz” and heartfelt tributes to the Danko brothers, whose musical legacy continues to inspire generations. The event promises powerful performances and a celebration of Norfolk County’s rich musical history.
Rick Danko, best known as a founding member of The Band, rose to fame backing Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan before helping to shape the sound of Americana rock. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
Terry Danko, a gifted songwriter and performer, has worked with major artists like Eric Clapton and George Harrison, while also building a respected solo career.
