The Ontario government is considering cutting teachers’ college programs from two years, citing research that course length doesn’t impact effectiveness according to document obtained by the Canadian Press.
These documents show real classroom experience better prepares educators and helps retain them.
Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady actually put a motion on the floor before Christmas time asking for this, saying in an interview we have earlier this year that she was going to continue to push for this at Queen’s Park.
