Ontario is rolling out new funding to support rural emergency departments and primary care in underserved communities.
Part of a new Physician Services Agreement with the OMA, the plan includes investments in the Rural and Northern Physician Group Agreement to recruit and retain doctors.
The province says the funding will help stabilize staffing and improve healthcare where it’s needed most.
