Henry Geissler is the official People’s Party of Canada candidate for Haldimand—Norfolk, running on a platform built around the PPC’s core values of freedom, personal responsibility, respect, and fairness.
A steadfast supporter of the party, Geissler believes this election isn’t about him—it’s about empowering Canadians by growing the PPC’s influence and bringing principled leadership to Parliament.
Geissler’s campaign focuses on cutting government waste, balancing the budget, and keeping taxpayer money at home rather than funding overseas projects.
On immigration, Geissler proposes a sharp reduction to ease pressure on social services, with a noted exception for migrant agricultural workers, though he emphasizes a desire to see more Canadians fill those roles.
He’s faced criticism, including being labelled racist at a recent debate, for his position on government funding for cultural events-but firmly rejects that label, stating his stance is about fairness and prioritizing Canadian values, not race or ethnicity.
Geissler is also a strong critic of what he calls the government’s promotion of “woke ideology” and believes Ottawa needs to return to common-sense governance.
On foreign policy and trade, he opposes any trade war with the United States, insisting that collaboration, not confrontation, is the key to mutual economic success.
He’s particularly vocal about the need to stop government funding of mainstream media, arguing that much of the media landscape has become biased and no longer represents a full spectrum of Canadian voices.
Election day is Monday.
