
Police have arrested and charged a Mississauga man in connection with an arson investigation on Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.
On Sunday (March 2nd), at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers from the Six Nations Police Service, along with the Ontario Provincial Police West Region Canine Unit and Six Nations Fire & Emergency Services, responded to a structure fire on Third Line Road in Ohsweken.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set, causing minor exterior damage.
No injuries were reported.
On Wednesday (March 5th), police arrested 24-year-old Daryoush Khosravi of Mississauga without incident at a location on Fourth Line.
He has been charged with:
Arson – Damage to Property (Section 434, Criminal Code)
Mischief Under $5,000 (Section 430(1)(a), Criminal Code)
