The City of Brantford has formed a Municipal Working Group on Trade to counter the impact of U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods.
Led by Mayor Kevin Davis, the city is prioritizing local businesses, adjusting procurement policies, and advocating at higher government levels.
Brantford is also introducing Buy Local campaigns, trade response initiatives, and suspending non-essential U.S. travel.
