Bobbi Ann Brady is back on the ballot.
With Ontario’s sudden election call, the Independent MPP is once again stepping up to represent the taxpayers of Haldimand-Norfolk.
In a press release Brady called the election “suspicious and completely unnecessary,” suggesting Premier Doug Ford is rushing to the polls before an RCMP investigation is complete. She also slammed the $150 million cost and said it breaks Ontario’s Fixed Election Date law.
Brady made history in 2022, winning in a riding held by Conservatives for 27 years. She built her campaign on defending democracy after Ford denied a local nomination race. A race that was recently denied a second time following another local appointment.
“I answer only to the people of Haldimand-Norfolk,” Brady said. “Government should work for you, not the other way around.”
Now, she’s ready to take on Ford again—on the ballot.
