The Simcoe Lions are once again doing a popular fundraiser just in time for Christmas.
Ron Keba is the Chair of the Gift Basket program with Kernal Peanuts, an idea that actually came out of a brainstorming section during a time when fundraising was a difficult task.
What started as a COVID idea has since grew, as the popularity of these special gift baskets increased with families, friends, and even businesses.
As for the what you can expect when going online to order.
Keba said their goal is to make sure they are ready for any Christmas gathering you have, so that means they need time to do so.
You can always pick up the baskets, but Keba said the Lions are always happy to bring them to your door as well.
Finally, he reminds everyone that every dime spent on these gift baskets stays in Norfolk.
A portion of the money goes to Kernals, who is putting these baskets together, as well as the Lions and the many programs they offer.
