In the early hours of Sunday, August 18th, Norfolk County OPP officers, alongside the Norfolk County Fire Department and Paramedic Services, responded to a single-vehicle crash on Main Street, Port Dover. A sedan reportedly left the road, hitting the exterior of a business and causing significant damage.
The driver and a passenger fled on foot before authorities arrived. Following the investigation, OPP identified the driver, a 22-year-old from Norfolk County, who now faces charges including careless driving, failing to remain, failing to report an accident, driving without a license, and having an open liquor container in the vehicle.
